Bu projenin amacı farklı
dersler ve müzelerde kullanılabilecek oyunlaştırılmış müze ziyaretleri
planlamak için bir çerçevenin oluşturulması, çerçeveye dayalı olarak sunulacak web
araçlarıyla Sosyal Bilgiler dersi “Kültür ve Miras” öğrenme alanı kapsamında
oyunlaştırılmış mobil destekli müze eğitimi uygulamalarının geliştirilmesi ve
uygulamaların 4., 5., 6. ve 7. sınıf öğrencilerinin bilişsel ve duyuşsal
becerilerine etkisinin araştırılmasıdır.
Projedeki uygulamanın
temeli bir web ortamında sunulacak araçlarla mobil ortama aktarılabilecek
kapsamlı müze ziyaretleri tasarlamaya dayanmaktadır. Proje; farklı müzeler ve farklı
öğrenme alanlarına uyarlanabilen bir uygulama sunması, sağlayacağı rehberlikle öğretmenleri
öğrencileriyle daha organize ve rahat biçimde müze ziyareti yapmaya motive
etmesi, bilişsel ve duyuşsal birçok kazanımı eğlenceli biçimde gerçek yaşama aktarması,
müze eğitimi araştırmalarında genellikle bir öngörü olarak değinilen bu
kazanımları deneysel biçimde kapsamlı bir araştırma çerçevesinde ele alması yönüyle
özgün değere sahiptir.
Mobil uygulama temel
olarak 3 farklı şekilde kullanılabilecektir. Öğrenci modülünde, öğrenciler müzede
bir öykü çerçevesinde kendileri için hazırlanan görevleri tamamlayacaklardır.
Öğretmen modülünde, öğretmen uygulamayı müzede öğrencileri ile etkileşimli
biçimde kullanabilecek, öğrencileriyle uygulama üzerinden paylaşabileceği ilginç
bilgiler ve öğrencilerine yöneltebileceği soru ve görev önerileri bulabilecektir
Dijital öyküleme modülünde ise öğrencilerin kendilerinden istenen görevlere göre
müzede anlatımlı videolar çekerek gezinin sonunda tam bir müze ziyaret
videosuna dönüştürmeleri sağlanacaktır. Ayrıca, öğrencilerin becerilerini
gerçek yaşama aktarmaları ve öğrenme alanı ile ilgili bilgilerini
pekiştirmeleri için müze ziyareti öncesi ve sonrası etkinlikler tasarlanacaktır.
Projede Erzurum’daki aktif iki müzeden biri olan, Osmanlı ve Selçuklu eserleri barındıran,
yeterince büyük bir mekâna sahip Yakutiye Medresesi uygulama müzesi olarak seçilmiştir.
Asıl uygulamalarda yapılacak müze ziyaretleri sırasında öğrenci ve öğretmen
gözünden tüm sürecin, müze ve öğrenme alanı ile ilgili kazanımların
değerlendirilmesi için araştırmalar yürütülecektir. Uygulamalar, Erzurum’da ilk
ve ortaokul kısımlarının bulunduğu bir okulda, 4. sınıftan 7. sınıfa kadar her
sınıf düzeyi için 3 müze ziyareti (toplam 12 ziyaret) olacak şekilde, Kültür ve
Miras öğrenme alanının yer aldığı güz dönemindeki 5-11. haftalar arasında
yapılacaktır. Araştırmalarda karma yöntem temel alınacak olup, nicel boyutta
yarı deneysel desenlerden zaman serisi ve ön-test, son-test denkleştirilmemiş
grup deseni kullanılacaktır. Nitel boyutta ise nicel bulguları desteklemek ve
açıklamak için görüşme ve gözlemler yapılacaktır.
Projenin, mobil destekli
müze ziyareti için çerçeve oluşturma, modüllerin web ve mobil ortamda
geliştirilmesi, uygulama müzesine uyarlama, pilot çalışmalar, asıl uygulama ve
veri toplama ile verilerin analizi ve paylaşımı adı altında 30 ay sürecek, 6
ana iş paketi bulunmaktadır. Proje yürütücüsü oyunlaştırma, dijital oyunlar,
sanal dünyalar ve insan bilgisayar etkileşimi konusunda deneyime sahiptir. Proje
ekibinde müze eğitimi, Sosyal Bilgiler ve Sınıf Eğitimi, görüntü işleme ve
mobil yazılım alanında uzman araştırmacılar ve Erzurum Müze Müdürlüğü uzmanlarından
bir danışman yer alacaktır.
Proje sonucunda özgün
akademik çıktıların yanında, uzun vadede müzelerin hem eğitimin temel bir
parçası olması hem de tercih edilir bir “zaman değerlendirme” ortamına
dönüşmesi beklenmektedir. İlgili uzmanlarca eklenecek bilgi ve belgelerle oyunlaştırılmış
mobil uygulama istenilen müze ve öğrenme alanı için uyarlanabilecektir.
Böylelikle daha sürdürülebilir ve daha etkili bir okul dışı öğrenme deneyimi
sağlanacaktır.
