Özet

Microbially Induced Calcite Precipitation (MICP) has emerged as an alternative to the soil improvement methods used today. In our study, the effects of different mold heights on permeability and calcite percentage were investigated in the

improvement of sand soils by using the MICP technique. In this context, the soils were placed in molds with a relative density of 45%. Afterward, the culture medium for 24 hours and the cementing solution for 96 hours was applied to the soils. As a

result, the increase in die heights increased the permeability. Calcite percentage results were similar. It has been determined that the mold height is especially effective on the permeability in the improvement of soils with MICP.
