Bu
çalışmada Güneydoğu Anadolu Bölgesindeki illerden seçilen üç şehir merkezindeki
(Adıyaman, Diyarbakır, Gaziantep) standart süreli yağışlar için (t=5, 10, 15,
30 dakika, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 12, 24 saat) uygun dağılım modelinin
belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bir diğer önemli amacı da, analiz yapılan
istasyonlarda çeşitli tekerrür süreleri için (T=2, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100 ve 500
yıl) en uygun yağış şiddeti-süre-tekerrür denklemlerinin belirlenmesidir.
Araştırılan
3 istasyonun 1959-2000 yılları arasındaki belirli süreli maksimum yıllık yağış
değerleri Devlet Meteoroloji İşleri Genel Müdürlüğünden elde edilmiştir.
Sırasıyla Genelleştirilmiş ekstrem dağılımlar, Gumbel, Normal, iki parametreli
Lognormal, üç parametreli Lognormal, Gamma, Pearson ve Logpearson dağılımları
kullanılarak uygun dağılım fonksiyonları ve belli tekerrürlü yağış şiddetleri
elde edilmiştir. Uygun dağılım fonksiyonları parametreleri belirlenirken momentler
yöntemi ve maksimum olabilirlik yöntemleri kullanılmıştır. Standart sürekli

sonuçları karşılaştırılarak belirlenmiştir. Tekerrür süreleri için sekiz yağış

karşılaştırılmıştır. Uygun denklem lineer olmayan tahmin yöntemindeki
korelasyon katsayıları incelenerek seçilmiştir.
Farklı istatistik
dağılımların farklı standart süreler için uygun olabilmektedir. Kullanılan
sekiz farklı yağış şiddeti-süre-tekerrür denklemi bir istasyondan başka bir
istasyona değişmektedir. Adıyaman istasyonunda bütün tekerrür süreleri için <img src="file:///C:/Users/admin/AppData/Local/Temp/msohtmlclip1/01/clip_image002.png" width="81" height="45"> denklemi seçilmiştir. Diyarbakır istasyonunda <img src="file:///C:/Users/admin/AppData/Local/Temp/msohtmlclip1/01/clip_image004.png" width="110" height="55"> denklemi ( T = 2, 5, 25 ve 100 yıl için), <img src="file:///C:/Users/admin/AppData/Local/Temp/msohtmlclip1/01/clip_image006.png" width="66" height="49"> denklemi ( T = 10 yıl için) ve <img src="file:///C:/Users/admin/AppData/Local/Temp/msohtmlclip1/01/clip_image008.png" width="86" height="58"> denklemi ( T =50 ve 500 yıl için) seçilmiştir. Gaziantep istasyonunda en büyük korelasyon katsayılarına sahiptir
oldukları için, <img src="file:///C:/Users/admin/AppData/Local/Temp/msohtmlclip1/01/clip_image010.png" width="89" height="59"> denklemi ( T = 2, 5 ve 100 yıl için), <img src="file:///C:/Users/admin/AppData/Local/Temp/msohtmlclip1/01/clip_image008.png" width="86" height="58"> denklemi ( T = 10, 25 ve 500 yıl için) ve <img src="file:///C:/Users/admin/AppData/Local/Temp/msohtmlclip1/01/clip_image012.png" width="65" height="48"> denklemi ( T =50 ve 500 yıl için) seçilmiştir.
