Chemical composition of the essential oil of teucrium multicaule montbret et aucher ex bentham from Turkey

Özet

The oil obtained by hydrodistillation from the aerial parts of Teucrium multicaule Montbret Et Aucher Ex Bentham from Turkey was analyzed by GC and GC/MS. Fifty-six compounds were characterized, representing 90.0% of the total components detected. The major constituents were identified as germacrene D (13.2%), caryophyllene oxide (10.9%), spathulenol (6.6%), β-caryophyllene (5.6%), and (6Z,10Z)-pseudo phytol (4.1%). © 2010, Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
