Özet

The aim of this research is to examine the organizational commitment levels of music

teachers working in different educational institutions. Organizational commitment is

the individual's willingness to strive to achieve organizational goals by adopting

organizational goals and values, and to maintain his presence in the organization. The

sample of the research consists of a total of 185 participant teachers from different

gender and age levels working in educational institutions in Konya and Karaman

Cities. The Organizational Commitment Scale-26 short form was applied to the

participants. According to the research findings, it was found that the organizational

commitment of music teachers was at a high level. In addition, the organizational

commitment of the participants differs significantly according to gender, age and

school type (p<0.05). The organizational commitment of female teachers and music

teachers in the 30-49 age group was found to be high. There was no significant

difference in the organizational commitment of music teachers in terms of school

type (p>0.05).
