Özet

Looking at the history of cinema, it is revealed that some objects are used

in the cinematographic narrative. It is sufficient to use these objects in

the plot of the movie, such as creating the characters, continuing the game

in the movie, and maximizing the scenario. At the same time, these

objects have an established meaning in terms of film language. The bow

and arrow are objects that make a strong statement. Since the early years

of cinema, bow and arrow have symbolic significance. These objects,

which represent power in the creation of characters, have been used in

different meanings over time. In the cinematographic narrative, the bow

and arrow are used to emphasize love as well as to evoke war. Subjects

such as bow and arrow, cinematography, and film constitute the

conceptual framework of this study. The literature review method has

been used to reveal these concepts. Movies selected from the history of

cinema has been be analyzed to determine how the bow and arrow are

used.
